August looks like being a busy month for Columbia Tristar. While most of us are going on holiday Columbia Tristar look to be releasing a host of DVDs on region two. Here is a week by week breakdown of what is on offer.

5th August

Baby Boy
Ten years after the release of the seminal BOYZ IN THE HOOD, acclaimed director John Singleton returns to the same inner-city L.A. neighborhood for the story of a misguided 20-year old African American man (Tyrese), a "baby boy" facing the commitments of real life.

Terry(Shemar Moore) is a reowned womanizer who desperately wants to settle down. Derrick (D.L. Hugley)is a loving husband and father who always finds time for the boys, despite a demanding wife who refuses to meet his sexual demands. Denise (Gabrielle Union), Sheila (Tamala Jones), and Louise (Jennifer Lewis) are the "sisters" who teach them that the battle of the sexes is won in the heart in this brazenly comic look at love, honesty and beauty of commitment

    Art, a brilliant serial killer, uses his chameleon-like charm to befriend siblings, Kate and Mike. Posing as the English professor he murdered, he seduces Kate who falls for the charismatic and handsome stranger until his true identity is revealed.

    The movie will receive an anamorphic - 1.78:1 transfer and an English Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack. Extras include a photo gallery, trailer and filmographies.
